We missed the 8 the coach should be done!
Manly finished 9th in defence, 8th in attack, won 12 games

Compare last year in 7th in defence, 5th in attack, won 13 plus a draw.

So went backwards a bit by all measures.

Though to be fair we had a significantly worse run with injuries than last year. Plus certain other problems, notably, captain publicly abandoning ship when the season had scarcely started)

So they really didn’t improve and I suspect that’ll be the case as long as they continue with Seibold

Given that Harvard sees a 50% year as normally a success, then let's all go out and have champagne to celebrate!

He can't get players to buy in , didn't at his previous clubs and again here. It's not a personal thing just how it is , if the club wants results and a great culture it starts at the top. He has to go , failed real bad with no accountability to the leader of the Pride fiasco and then the Schuster extension was a joke. Rookie errors in man management at any workplace.

Yet the Spoonbold apologists say nothing to see. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

DCE leaves Manly after being here for his whole career because of Seibold.

Ennis thumbs his nose at Seibold to go work for Flanagan. Probably why he came here in the first place.

Now Turbo wants out!!

Just get rid of this cancer.

Our season was terminal after round 3. Massive win against Canberra offset by season ending Paskea injury and our captain announcing him leaving the club and the rest of us dangling why it played out. We were not a serious threat after that to make a run at the premiership!

Absolutely, I hear you! The last three weeks have been a proper statement given the injuries and gaps in the forward pack. Winning with Lodge, Simpkin, TKO, Waddell, Burbo, and Tevaga at the start would’ve seemed a stretch to anyone—so credit where it’s due.

We all thought we had a top-4 roster last year, and this year. The positive thing is that even if we miss the finals again—or just scrape in limping—our juniors are thriving. Depth has been our saving grace—look how well the juniors went! Hopefully we keep developing a strong junior base. While it’s easy to bag whoever, the fact we’re still competing in style says a lot about the squad.

I’m really hoping our coach can make Lodge captain like he did at the Broncos and bring him into the top 30 for next year—or even add him to a development deal like Woods had—it’ll be great to see what he can do with a full pre-season and not starting the season odd training with cup.

Excited to see the mix of youth stepping up and key upgrades coming through. Names like Willett, Kioa, Feledy, Lawry, Walsh, Laiafi, Sykes, Mafoa, Patolo, Hart, Paulo, Muagututia, etc. could really take us to the next level. Dunford is gone, so it’ll be interesting to see who fills that gap.

But hey, Klemmer will be a great pick-up—he fits the classic Manly Cove DNA perfectly!

Knowing our luck, roster management will be just as ‘creative’ next year… so I’ll be keeping my seatbelt on for another wild ride!

Here’s to 2026—bring it on!
We won 3 games when it didn't matter against sides with basically nothing to play for also, including the warriors who could not improve their position. We played the Roosters at home and Tigers when it DID matter and....
