Seibold presser ..

Good judges believe it would make no differen

Well, Des got us to 2 finals series in three years. Taking us to a prelim final. He also had us in the hunt for a third finals series before rainbow gate. Barrett has failed everywhere, literally. It's why he isn't a head coach now. Siebold has taken us to week two in the finals where we had our asses handed back to us on a plate by the Chook chook chickens. Anthony has never won a premiership in any grade either as a coach or an assistant. Very unusual for a head coach.

Here is my evidence that he isn't a very good coach.

HE HASN'T WON ANYTHING!
please dont say that because all the Seibold lovers dont want to hear that , its like negativity to their ears , and it never happened apparently

I don't know that there are any certified "Seibold lovers" on the site. I mean, he's not an easy guy to love. But there are plenty of people who can see that we have a number of problems outside of the coach, and that not everything is his fault. Given our roster and general inability to do anything right, changing the coach is not going to be some sort of magic bullet. The malaise in the club runs deeper than that.

But as somebody once said, "It's a results driven business", and firing the coach is always an easy out. So there's no doubt Seibold is running out of time and chances. And Cherry's parting gift may well be to get him sacked.

Yes, we have many problems. But some people refuse to consider that the coach may be one of them, and that anyone saying otherwise knows nothing about the game, has psychological problems or thinks they know how to coach an NRL side.

Oh my God, one of the worst tonight.
Seibs - medical staff said a 90% chance of Haumole re-injuring his shoulder - i took a calculated risk to play him.
Yes, he is now out for the rest of the year.

Seibs was really Proud of the team twice!!!

Close your eyes, and you would say DCE is the coach. So much more articulate and logical of what needs to be done.

Gobsmacked.

Well there we have it, do we need anymore evidence what so ever. Infuriating presser to watch.

We won’t improve, or be genuinely competitive, while Anthony Seibold remains head coach.

Besides his lack of skill, etc, etc, this is the last straw - There is no way in the world that any decent coach/human being would have let Haumole play.

If that’s true it’s unbelievable. Doesn’t the coach/club have a duty of care to the employee? He has a responsibility for his football wellness and his personal wellbeing as well. And how can a player perform knowing he’s about to dislocate his shoulder again?

He was trying to imply that Haumole needed an operation, so they took the risk and played him.
Crap anyway you look at it.

90% chance of re-injury and he took a calculated risk? How irresponsible can someone be? That is one desperate coach trying to save his job.

Forget the loss today the damage done to Haumole with a potentially difficult recovery and potentially career stalling injury that can prevent a player reaching their potential.

Even as selfish as that all sounds he decides to announce that stupid risk to the entire world.

Just speechless and i bet the young players of the club are thinking this coach will look out for me.

I'm really not sure what to say. If there was ever a case of negligence to duty of care...that's it...

I know we are being critical of DCE this year, but fark he must be happy at the thought of not having to sit next to this numpty every weekend ..
