Let's hope Lodge does what he preached...to keep it simple, 'play physical and hard' and the 'flashy guys' do their thing. May the pack play to their strengths to keep their spots, Schu to walk the walk and not just talk, and I live in hope of seeing Koula and Saab let loose in the open and use their speed.

My biggest fear Mark, is that we (as is expected) get beaten today and we end up tossing in the towel and go on to finish like we did last season.

Hopefully, they prove the bookies (and most ST) wrong and play out of their skin and mesmerise the Sharks. o_O

Well it’s been a while since they’ve done that so I guess today would be as good a day as any!
 
Sharks will do it easily..
Might not be a high score, but expecting them to get a lead at some point and never really be threatened..
Hopefully manly can surprise me with a win but pretty certain this team doesn’t have it in then
 
First time I have bet on Footy this year. Just put $300 on Sharks 13+. I figured that if I am going to watch another loss I may as well try and get something out of it for once. If Manly win I'll be happy too.

We can only hope, think we'll get a pretty good bounce back on having Lodge and Keppie coming of the bench, they'll be breathing fire and brimstone. On the whole our forward pack's looking quite formidable today, they need to lay the platform for Schuster and DCE to show their wares.

Mine has been terrible too. I am only betting to try and give us an edge because my luck as a punter is worse than my tipping. So based on that my bet should mean a Manly win and if that happens then I am happy and it is money well spent. If we win I took one for the team.

Been my strategy for years, and the only way I know how to bet on Manly games.

I see it as "buying a win for Manly", and if they lose, at least I walk away with some coin (still sucks, but def softens the blow).
