I thought I would update you all on some information for the new system.
Originally with the new system we were going to use a fully integrated forum system, this was going to essentially save space and development time etc.
However I have done some further research and the native forum solution for the system we were going to go to is not yet mature enough to handle this site.
What this means is that we are going to have 2 seperate systems.
1 - The main site
2 - The forums
This should not be a problem though i may make it so that you have to login to both form different tasks if I don't think the integration is powerful enough. Though I am hoping it is fine.
So this will mean
1 - A faster forum
2 - A faster site
It shouldn't make much difference to the site itself or the rest of you but something you should be aware of. It will be pretty seemless though.
