They are having a good dig, not playing great but hanging tough which is what I want to see each week

Not sure how much more I can take watching though, Foran passes the ball on the line, it lands 1m behind the line, forward pass. Then we head down the other end of the field and are happy to give a try when the ball is played sideways

I think he changed his mind, was gonna give a knock on, realised it wasn't so to save face gave a forward pass which couldn't be challenged.

Thank you, some reality around the place. We can't keep blaming the refs. The injuries. The rain. The dog ate it. Everything else but poor effort in 1%'ers that make a difference

Adam Gee is an absolutely horrific ref. On par with Cummins and that’s saying a lot.

With that said Des deserves a lot of flack for picking Taufua. I know he scored a try (which anyone here could have scored) but we all knew his weaknesses and Melbourne have targeted those from the start. It’s a shame because we’re well in this game but once again being let down by certain players - no idea if Weekes is ready for FG or not, but would rather try him than the absolutely liability in Taufua.

I said taking a good winger out of position would hurt Manly, especially with a has been Tafua.

At least weeks plays full back, and has some attacking flair. More upside imo.

After watching us for weeks on end make mistake after mistake, I have arrived at a conclusion;

We’re a half decent team, that is completely out of form.

If we were riding high with confidence we’d be well ahead in this game. We’re just down on form, and making the dumbest mistakes. It’s painful knowing we’re good but low on form.

Foran has had to deal with Davey,Bullemor Parker/Harper outside him,imagine a bit of speed and strength with Koula and Olakau’atu

Our 2 most dangerous players are Olakau’atu and Koula and they got no good ball because the halfback inside them runs around like a headless chicken. On the other side we have Foran and Schuster creating good space with Harper and Jorge Taufua outside them. Hanging in the game yet can’t create points with the imbalance we have in the side at the moment

I mean, we should be playing the ball quicker. We need to get in a roll. People will say we were courageous (AGAIN), but in that half, we had no possession, they dominated field position, and we looked very lethargic making very little metres.
