We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. We sound like admin staff bitching about decisions being made, but few of us have been in a position to have to make such decisions. It's always easy from afar.
This bitching and moaning about our clubs owners and now CEO is tiresome, some people clearly embrace it - I do not. It is malignant, even virulent. Watching people post here it is clear many are sheeple, incapable of forming their own opinion. Then there are the "I can do betters" a simple answer...No you bloody well can't! It is easy to criticise in hindsight, it is easy to say " I would've" no you wouldn't!

It is a forum and we are entitled to post our disappointment they are open to criticism and praise (today was great signing the young blokes to extended deals) but to suggest it hasn't been a massive stuff up 2 lose 2 international halves in 1 season is ridiculous.
The club themselves have admitted as much by drafting in Bozo.

I feel like even if we did he'd just end up in he boardroom at some shonky GC car dealer and get a bigger offer from the ti...NRL so what's the point? Competing against them is like the old casino saying - the house always wins.
We've lost TWO halfbacks to the same club. That is incredible. We can probably go after another and they will sign him too to play ****ing hooker. OVER. IT.
Why are you blaming others? why is it the nrl's fault? it didn't stop the raiders signing sezer from them.

Management pulled the offer on one of the best players in the nrl and have no one to replace him with, especially no one any where near his talent. Im really upset about it pure and simply by the fact i love watching him play for Manly, he always puts in and is a star play maker, you simply can't easily replace. Plus with gun backs like Tom T and Cutherson coming thru would be awesome with DCE putting them into holes. I have been a huge supporter of DCE ever since his first game and am still really hoping we keep him in the maroon and white

I can appreciate, and even concur with some of that.
My concerns are, there was an arrogance in the way certain players were treated and a clear discrepancy on how our halves were viewed. That's fine, but not when you havnt made sure the chosen one is signed. It's amateur stuff, and the fact we have no contingency and nothing is working out reinforces this amatuer behaviour. I do agree, it's easy for people to get whipped into a frenzy here, and spout off ( I'm guilty) hence your comment on sheep, but I think that is no less of an issue than those who back management no matter what and follow in blind faith. We may not be sponsors throwing hundreds and thousands of dollars at the club. But we are stakeholders with a vested interest. Sponsors come and go. Supporters sustain the club. So I believe we have the right to speak up and espouse our views through any medium available, such as silvertails.
Voting with feet is sometimes the only way the herd is acknowledged. And unfortunately this is what will happen if manly doesn't treat there fans and players with a bit of respect. What it seems they did to dce is ludicrous. He will be the most marketable player in the game for the next 8 or so years. And we low balled him and treated him differently and with less respect than foran. Again, amatuer.

Would you spend 20% of your cap on one player. Great, let's divvy up 80% to the other 25. Good halves need good players outside them. Tits need more than Roberts intercepts next year. Remember Scott prince?

You forget their halves were playing some really good footy too. Here is an interesting fact for you Loobs. How many games have South Sydney won without Reynolds since his debut in 2012?? Answer...NONE! But yeah, a good halfback isn't that important...
