The Daly Cherrygraph

Realize that the professional, self interest and sometimes a couple of other factors come into it when a high profile and long serving player leaves a club but just wondering in this D C E instance if getting 250 K extra for one season or maybe a couple of other inducements has some precedence and more importance over being a one club player
And all of the accolades and adulation that go with that status .
Well , done and dusted now and sincerely hope that D C E can put in as much effort and game commitment in his remaining Manly matches that he will undoubtedly attempt to produce at the Roosters next season

Completely agree. It looks reactionary or emotional the decision

Maybe its business

It seems he could have squeezed 2 more out of manly

Maybe he just thought he should or could still command a million bucks a season irrespective of other considerations .
Thought that there could be some similarities with the Ben Hunt instance in the professional sense but he has apparently settled for 600 K at the Broncs [ or maybe some other goodies ]
So really still not sure what to make of the D C E situation other then being a one club player just does not rate of much significance to him

Now we are hearing that the roosters only want him for one year and that they may have to lose either sandon smith or Hugo Savale or both to accomodate him.

I wonder if the chooks are having second thoughts

If we recall even Dce said a few weeks ago he met with rival clubs in December and there were no offers.

He should just go to catalans, rent his curlie house out and get big bucks for two years and let his girls have a European experience. Once in a lifetime opportunity to live overseas.

Why get smashed up in the nrl for another year at age 37.

Then come back straight on to the manly coaching staff in three years time and go back to living in curl curl

That’s just my opinion though.

or ... he could earn just as much with roles in the Player's association and media .... with a halves coaching consultancy thrown in for pocket money.

Look - he has been gone for a while now ...destination was always Roosters, so would like to simply move forward in a Positive way.
The reason Manly stuck so hard on the lures for Fogarty were all about this and now he is coming along gotta keep building in other area's where most needed.
The plan of that zippy 9 from Tigers is a great start and grab that Whyte from Roosters, an ideal front rower for what we need moving forward and youth on his side....that or Haas and I'm happy with the future plans

Apparently the coc*heads want DCE now. Go I say and they can carry the rest of his salary this year. We ain't winning jacksh*t with DCE there this year like the last 24 years. We might pickup someone who wants to be here before June 30th.

It’ll be interesting to see how he does go at the roosters. He’ll have a great coach and a pretty bloody good team around him. So @BOZO he’ll have all the ingredients for success and no excuses for failure. We shall see.
DCE has achieved every Winning Prize the Game has to offer
The Accomplished DCE does not have to prove anything to any one
DCE Will Always be one of our Greatest Manly Legends

When DCE Wears the Tri colors . He is not ours . He becomes there's
I am only Interested what Manly do

Apparently some Manly fans want Seibolds head now
But unfortunately the club extended him and that wont happen

The moral of the story
You cannot please every one
