He'll play well enough to have a statistical defense but he'll straight up lose us the game. He's thrown his toys out of the cot before, sometimes it's just less obvious than hiding on a wing.

If we recall even Dce said a few weeks ago he met with rival clubs in December and there were no offers.

He should just go to catalans, rent his curlie house out and get big bucks for two years and let his girls have a European experience. Once in a lifetime opportunity to live overseas.

Then come back straight on to the manly coaching staff in three years time and go back to living in curl curl

I did not want to see DCE go either Jay ,
Just like I did not wan to See our one and only Manly Immortal Bob Fulton go to the Roosters ,or hear about How our Greatest Administrator Arko also left Manly as a young player for Greater Money to go and play in the Bush .

The truth is the club and the players have to do what is best for them selves

When Arko was CEO he knew that our club could not match the Packer Money that Bob Fulton was offered and Thanked Bob for his Services at Manly and wished him luck and the Negations ended respectfully and in harmony

On the other hand We now have a CEO called Mestrov who does not have the superior Diplomacy or Negotiations Skills of the games greatest Administrator Arko
and the result was that the DCE Negotiations irrationally Prolonged and eventually turned into a Media Circus.

Fogarty will stay at the Raiders and give everything he can in getting them into the GF in 2025. There are rumours that Sandon Smith is getting shopped though. He would make an outstanding fourteen or half for us this season if so. He could also compete for the starting role as hooker with Simpkin in 2026.

DCE will play well for origin selection after that he may well loose interest and then he is no longer an asset and expensive one at that.

Most definitely money. He will get a million plus a year thanks to David ginge at channel 9. Probably a good indication why he broke the news through that outlet. A good gesture of faith perhaps

If DCE goes early we are short an NRL standard half for the rest of 2025. Neither Arthur or Wakeham are the answer in my opinion. We wont see Fogarty until 2026. Sandon Smith could fill that gap on a loan deal that forms part of the DCE release. Roosters cover Smiths contract so no cost to us. The money we save this year on the balance of DCEs inflated contract, then goes to a good young forward to bring our squad numbers upto 30 for 2025.
