Real shame, like Whatmough, he destroyed his legacy of 9 years in a heartbeat. No mistake, Kieran loves the platitudes of being labelled honest, tough, honourable etc etc.
He is hurting bad personally no doubt. As Budg Eagle said, it's written all over his face. He needs to leave the club now for his own sake. It must be torturous for him. Remember guys, he is still a human being.

He is getting paid a **** load of money to play professional football each week and with that honour and salary comes the expectation that he will perform to a high level. As a professional no matter how much he is hurting or doesn't want to be with us he shouldn't be dishing up the **** performances that he is. I don't feel sorry for him. I am angry, not because he is leaving but because we are still paying this clown good $$$$ for sub standard play and not only that he because he is a virus or a cancer that is impacting the whole team. Maybe if he did have a crack he wouldn't look so worried. **** him.

As you like to analyze everything, riddle me this Batman:
The night before he announced his decision to the Team he said he still hadn't decided. That same night news reports said he would be announcing his move to Parra at 10am next morning. He does this. In interviews later that day he said he made up his mind at 9am that morning. How does that work?
Additionally, you claim he is still putting in for Manly and you can see no difference to past years. Next few games, have a look at the look on his face as he runs out onto the field and see if his performance matches that. I see seething resentment or complete emotional mess. And I see performances that match.
I never stated you can see no difference in his performances not once.
Still had not made a decision can mean he was still wrestling with the idea of "should he stay" that he still had doubts even though he had pretty much made up his mind.

Absolutely, to see it any other way is plain delusional.
Delusional that I take a more balanced look at his comments from both sides, I'm not saying peoples views are wrong but suggesting they are looking at his replies in an overly negative way to feed the anger and disappointment inside them.

Legacy and loyalty warms the hearts of fans more than the individual receiving such praise.

Take Ben Kennedy for example he was with Manly for only a few seasons and has left more of a legacy than others who have played longer at Manly.

Are we talking about the same Foran? The one who a few years ago wrestled with the Dogs offer up tothe last minute, when Kite reportedly swayed him to stay at the eleventh hour?

Yet people are convinced he decided on the Eels last year and never wavered? I would be amazed if he never wavered. Wasn't it reported that just before his decision he met with some Manly legends and was then leaning towards staying?

And if he was still considering staying up to the last minute (as he did with the Dogs offer last time) then I don't see any deception.

I do see a lot of fans who react emotionally to rejection. 'What, you don't want me? But I thought you loved me? Why, you are just a cheating, disgusting liar etc etc etc'

No-one's asking you to feel the same way SeaEagleRock8. Your happy with our form, the players leaving the way they are, and the decisions of management - that's your perogative. You defend every player, coach, management member & their behaviours - that's great mate - your an awesome fan....is that what you want?

Don't patronise or belittle other forum members like you have in that last paragraph though for others having higher expectations, wanting more transparency & communication.

If Foran hadn't signed with Parramatta, then he shouldn't have been suggesting he had - to anyone, anywhere. Just remember, when his missus claimed "karma" on the day he "announced" his signing, that was a big up yours to you, Manly's greatest ever fan, along with everyone else.

I can't blame Foran for not giving a **** about Manly anymore.
He has to protect the 1.2 mil asset.

I can blame the rest of the players though for not making him stick to his word.

We blame Foran for all he's worth, but there is nothing to suggest from the reactions of his team mates that they think he isn't putting in.

If his team mates are content with his effort, what hope is there for the fans.

Hopefully his dodgy hammy will save our Season or a concussion where he forgets that he quit for Parra and plays like he did in 2011 :D

First of all I have been stating I think JT is over-rated since the start of his NRL career.(and longer on this site and previous sites) Me saying he has improved this last 2-3yrs is me saying the previous 7 or so years were nothing special other than his will to win and effort plays.
I've even stated there are elements in a half that make a player worth purchasing for NRL squad purposes and other qualities for Origin reasons. JT is more heart than skill and has been found wanting and very limited in the NRL big games that have better defensive structures than Origin due a more planned for and trained for squad.

Point 2, "criticised for the way he left" he was "over-heard" saying last year that he felt he might be at the Eels in the future so what---do you really honestly believe Foran signed all that time ago leaving him no bargaining power to up his price. To me his preference was to sign before the season started and maybe had doubts of leaving even though I feel and stated at the time if you have those same doubts like his previous negotiations it was time to leave anyway. Foran did not want it dragging on way into the season--- yeah it was a few weeks off what he wanted to do so f*&)ing what.

The paypacket comment was in relation to the raised intensity of criticism after not resigning not a reference to a starting point. The only area I stood up for Foran is when many fans were saying his efforts dropped for the entire 2nd half of the season when this was not the case----if this was the case do you really think we would of received players player of the year for the second time running.

Personally I can't wait for the real Cancer in the squad to leave so we can start afresh in 1-2yrs.

By that I take you mean the " other brother"?

This whole thing is not very complicated really.Taking away all the arguments about how and why he left and who said what and when, there is a question that still remains and needs to be answered by those who seem to think his presence in the team is ok.

And that question is very simple. If you wear the famous number six at Manly and are paid a lot of money to do so in 2015,all most thinking fans want is effort and commitment for the remainder of your contract. Are we getting it? All rational evidence says NO and renders the other suff we(including me) are arguing about irrelevant.End of story.Get rid of him.

Why stop at the number 6 or single him out.

So you think Snake is the real problem. So why is he still here? Shouldn't he have walked when his brother was pushed ? Contracts don't mean sht these days so there's no reason he couldn't have arced up and left.

Because he is quite simply disgracing the jumper in terms of effort. And pray tell me, does the fact that I may not have identified a few around him that are not pulling their weight absolve him of his responsibilities.

Are we to assume from that comment that as long as a few others are dogging it one of our supposed leaders and our highest paid player is quite entitled to do the same.

Surely we haven't reached the stage where "but he's dogging it too" is sufficient to explain his total lack of effort....obviously we have.
