I am still stunned at all of this. He was very very close to Zorba and now he has bought a place even further away from Parra at Freshie. I am starting to think maybe he is on his way back next year.

Even though we know that we're going to need a 5/8 next year with Killer retiring and Walker proving to not be one, we don't seem to be actively chasing a 5/8. Could this have something to do with it?

It's all been a plant - Foz will be back at manly next year bright eyed & bushy tailed, injury free & in perfect frame of mind after derailing the para season. Along with manly legend & plant Choc...

Deep under cover manly agents sent to infiltrate & destroy para from within.

Lol....

I wouldn't take him back in 2 heartbeats.

Let's just say he didn't play for Manly all these years so we can remove the rose coloured glasses....

If we read about foz (or a another player) coming onto the market we'd see.....

Player- ex (insert team here) is on the market.

1 time very good premiership winning player wants 1 mill + per season.

currently:

-dodgy hamstrings
-recent shoulder injury
-prescription drug problem
-gambling issues
- fined and lost captaincy for not staying in rehab and breaking alcohol ban
- family issues
- almost left club to follow des held club to ransom
-left to follow arthur after many delays
- promised to sort contract out before start of season and didn't
-played without any intent for 18 months

Are people really seriously suggesting they'd go "Oh yes, sign him up immediately?!?!"

I just don't see it.

But somehow...because he was at our club none of these are magically issues?

I just don't believe it.

But each to their own.

Agree so surprised people can have such short memories the guy treated us like dog **** on their shoe. Absolutely does not deserve to play in our colours again

Not only did he leave but he waited til DCE signed with the titans before he announced it, ensuring maximum damage to Manly when he agreed to Parra's terms six months earlier.

We have signed DCE to a mega contract so shelling out potentially for Foz is stupid beyond comprehension. Money aside this guy white anted the club within with his selfishness. Thanks for the memories pre 2014 Foz and genuinely hope you get the help you need to get over whatever it is that's the underlying issue. But stay away from our club.

Same sentiments with regards to ppl wanting Des back, he shat on the club and i don't care if he could get us 2 premierships in the next 4 yrs he robbed all of us the chance to enjoy that 2011 premiership and turned it into the off season from hell with constant stories of players leaving etc.

Disappointing how it's all panned out but that's life.
