Talk about a slow burn, Sipley has been great these past few weeks. Playing longer minutes and making a real impact, he looks very fit.
Could he pick up next year where he finishes this year? Paseka was having his best year too, before his injury.
Not sure, and don't want to sound too positive (lol) but if Sips keeps this up one of the mods may have to consolidate all the Toff threads into a Mega-Sipley thread. @;)

Really under rated player

People were creaming themselves over Lodges 2 games, let’s see how Sipleys 4 since have compared

Lodge

Sharks - 53mins, 154m, 4 Tackle Busts, 30 tackles 3 misses

Dragons - 45mins, 112m, 4 Tackle Busts, 27 tackles 0 misses

Sipley

Roosters - 43mins, 136m, 5 tackle busts, 17 tackles 0 misses

Penrith - 46mins, 111m, 5 tackle busts, 27 tackles 0 misses

Warriors - 47mins, 87m, 1 tackle bust, 37 tackles 2 misses

Dogs - 48mins, 148m, 11 tackle busts, 23 tackles 0 misses

120m per game busting tackles with 26 tackles and hardly missing is a great return on what we are paying for him

Real asset if he can keep his current form and endurance level going .
Real good attitude as well , definitely hope that the big fella can keep it up , Again side will be so much better for it

His form and energy was down prior to the Roosters game, only running for 60/70mts/ game, I think thats when Lodge arrived and looked so much better. Recent forms been good when lodge got injured.

I am a big fan of Toff so slightly biased but thought he played his best game of the year yesterday. I also thought Keppie did really well. Hopefully they both take this form into next year. Together with Paseaka / lodge / Bulleymore / Alio Olio / Woods we should have a good "core" group of middles for 2024. Probably still need a newbie in there to add some energy and spark but not sure what's on that horizon.

Not so much about metres gained Kiwi E, Lodge brings in the enforcer, intimidating factor that every team needs.

Sipley can definitely be in the 17. He has been criminally under used in the past 2 seasons. Funny that with increased game time and responsibility he has prospered. Some of his busts yesterday were bloody good. Appreciate it was the Dogs defence but he regularly bends the line most games. AND he does look fitter but I put that down to more game minutes.

I have always thought Sippers has shown a lot of potential and probably not quite lived up to it .
It maybe case of the old adage that FRs don't really mature into there best until later in their career .
He has performed really well the last few weeks and particularly yesterday (I know it was only the dogs but still ). I hope he is resigned ,there is a few I would be moving on before him. Well done Sippers !!!
