To be honest, I believe our players hearts are just not in it this year.
Hodko this week had an article about how excited he was at the chance of playing with Noddy, when really, he should be focusing on this game against The Knights. Next year is next year.
Perry then says whilst standing in an Eagles jersey after a loss, that he's a Newcastle boy, and hopefully will be back there one day.
It's these disruptions and counter productive attitudes that show no spirit in our club that are really hurting us.
The Knights wanted it more. The commentators were saying how their players are doing everything in their power to be offered new contracts.
This attitude and behaviour should be addressed at management level, and unfortunately, it is now rife throughout our team....even Choc said pre-game that the players just haven't been playing for one and other.
What does that tell you about our club at present?
