Paul Crawley will be sacked after that article. Way too much common sense there.

..did anyone see Freddy on the footy show after that comment, and he went on to say the trainers get right down on the ground to tell the players to stay down...like cows eating grass...and then did an impersonation of said cow eating grass...PMSL!!!:D:p!

Great article from Paul Crawley, unfortunately will probably be his last . We can't have a balanced point of view coming from the Terrorgraph can we .

Here's one from the SMH. Steve Mascord.

The ministry of information

The NRL's ill-advised crackdown on what is arbitrarily deemed "excessive" criticism by coaches of referees will be tested on Monday when Geoff Toovey's post-match comments from Friday are examined. It used to be you had to question the integrity of a match official to cop a fine; now you pretty much only have to upset the NRL. How can reporters rely on the NRL to enforce media rules and free speech when the administration itself indulges in censorship?

A valid article In shock that it in the telegraph. There will be a thorough league journalism investigation at tele headquarters.
Thumbs up Paul Crawley.

Unbiased, sensible journalism from the telegraph, who would have thought...
Perhaps his co-workers should try pulling their heads out of their arse and give it a try.

Would love to see 2v read out a legal brief at the start of the post match interview.

'As advised by the Manly Sea Eagles Legal Department, I and any one else employed by the Manly Sea Eagles, are unable to answer any questions that may be posed to us, due to our involvement in the proceedings which may inadvertently, expose our Club to breaches of the NRL Code of Conduct.
I will now hand over to the NRL Media Representative, who can answer all relevant questions in a manner befitting the growing of the game of Rugby League Football.'

Does anyone have a screen shot of the ball on the line in the Matai no try incident?

The camera angle straight down the tryline should show it. The video referee only used it 1 time in the replay montage at almost full speed and never went back to it at slow speed at any stage.

The NRL censored that shot. Not in the spirit of the game.

Wake up people the Tele complaining about the refs is an article that targets the lowest common denominator demographic "including Manly supporters" therefore they will run with it to sell papers.

You will notice most journalists and commentators encouraging or backing up Tooveys style of remarks due to the fact it makes their life easier to write up a story.

Wake up and smell the roses people----move on already you are all part of the Matrix.

Yeah they are targeting me in the background with large sums of money so they can better brainwash people like yourself to hand over even more of your disposable income to Rupert.

Ah it all makes sense now, the tele is full of bull**** so who better to target behind the scenes to contribute to it
