This player came to the club to play junior reps then went to another club then back to us then signed with another club then back to us.What player has had 3 stints at our club?
To lighten the mood of all the NRL salary cap BS & losing to Souths, can anyone name a game when Manly led a match 1 - 0?
Hints will follow if you have no idea......
With that clue that he came from the Central coast , reckon it could be Daniel Harrison but not that certainThis player came to the club to play junior reps then went to another club then back to us then signed with another club then back to us.
Didn't play much 1st grade and was mostly a backrower.
He was originally from the entrance tigers.
He played some 1st grade at all 3 clubs.
He was no Steve Menzies but had some similarity.
I think you've just won a night out with the Silvertail of your choice Al,,,,,With that clue that he came from the Central coast , reckon it could be Daniel Harrison but not that certain
Actually it would be interesting as to what year the field goal was reduced from 2 points to one point . Probably sometime in the early Seventies as guys like Eric Simms used to dominate games back then kicking field goals [ and even win them with field goals ]. Also good rugby converts like Phil Hawthorne and others were quite effective as well . Bozo Fulton was pretty handy slotting the occasional field goal over also when they were worth two points .This would be going back a bit wouldn't it to the days of Bozo and Dennis Ward?
I don't recall any of our usual kickers over the years (Cliffy, Matty Ridge, Cherry etc) giving us a 1-0 lead in a game.
Too much quality to chose from Harvey but thanks for the offer .I think you've just won a night out with the Silvertail of your choice Al,,,,,
God I remember the peanut guy “peanuts sugar coat , peanuts in a shell” little ethnic guy.Q: How many peanuts were in the packets sold by the Peanut Man who roamed the hill in the 80s?

You are quite right. It has happened before.I think that was also the first score in the 1978 semi final vs Sharks. Johnny Gibbs banged it over.

If anyone tried it in 2018 the NRL scandal train would go into meltdown.
To choose will be my Easter Resolution .

My Dad never bought us any peanuts back in the day but that guy was a real trooper. Walking the whole ground, every match, again and again.God I remember the peanut guy “peanuts sugar coat , peanuts in a shell” little ethnic guy.
