Eels boss takes leave: reports
Parramatta boss Paul Osborne has reportedly taken leave while the club investigates his financial dealings and other issues.
The Sydney Morning Herald website reported on Wednesday the club will investigate documentation relating to player contracts, including third-party arrangements.
It has been reported that Osborne borrowed a large sum of money from Parramatta chairman Roy Spagnolo and was required to repay the Eels $35,000 he had accumulated on his club credit card.
Parramatta media manager Doug MacDougall said on Wednesday night the club would not immediately be commenting on the matter.
