Everyone is gassed.

Saab takes the zero tackle. He cramps up and stretches it out.

Tom takes the 1st tackle 20 ish metres from the tryline. DCE was at dummy-half. Garrick is out of play for this with his back turned to the ball.

Bullemor takes the second tackle on the 30 metre line. DCE was dummy half again.

Third tackle. Simpkin at dummy half. Lehi takes a run over the 40 metre line.

Fourth tackle, Simpkin passes right to DCE, he passes left to Brooks who flicks it back on the right to Tom running up and it goes over his left shoulder. Can see what they were trying but didn't come off.

What happens next is the main thing for me here and what I'm going to focus on.

Tom drops it on the halfway line. Then runs another ten metres forward without the ball and his arms behind his back.

My point is that rather than just being smart, playing out the set and kicking it long (so everyone gets more recovery time), they tried a fancy play that wasn't on and then let in two very soft tries as a result.

Simple stuff like that is why we are where we are. IMO.

The rest of them need to step up and improve as well. Especially in defence.

But the plays he was involved in that got them to the 42 point lead - what were they? Or defensive play with 17 to go where he single handedly shuts down a break to allow cover to come through and make the tackle - what was that.......

Complaining about Tom Trbojevic in a game where we won by 40 six months ago, might just be the most Silvertails thing ever.
