I was very disappointed in the refs tonight and it was a very messy game overall anyway, but the Uate second try where he dropped it and it was blatantly missed by the touchy who was in a great position to call it. I thought yeah righto fair enough mistake move on, but when Klein tried to start evening the calls up after the Uate try it was utterly ridiculous! First Walker got coat hangered, should have been a penalty, then 3 or 4 forward passes from Levi out of dummy half that were just glossed over it was horrible. Don't try and even it up, just try to not do it again. Overall good win from the boys, tough game and we really stood up in defence early in the game. Well done Manly!

Completely agree, was blatant and obvious and above all dangerous.

The ball from Uata was stripped anyway so to be fair technically still a try

The Uate try was a genuine mistake, the referee was in panic mode after that...
They don't drop Refs for 'mistakes' 😉but this guy probably will be for a genuine mistake.
Genuine mistakes can not be tolerated, it tears at the fabric of the game!

It was the most pathetic performance i have ever witnessed from the refs/touch judges! More dodgy **** went against Manly though. A realistic scoreline should have seen us win 24-8 at the very least.

The refereeing made a hard to watch game harder.
For players and spectators alike.
If they had any idea at all they would realise that a game in those conditions will breed it's own mistakes and stoppages without looking for them.
I am looking at it more as a spectacle rather than with any bias.
He just couldn't leave his whistle alone when he should've tried to keep it in his pocket.

If this was played on a dry night we would of won by 30+ knights were lucky it was such poor conditions. We really couldn't play our normal game.

Origin has a different set of rules. plus I didnt watch it properly I was in meetings so had it on the ipad in the background, the client was aware of this as he is a northern englishmen who appreciates rugby league 🙂
