Up with the Worst Effort ever

Players with the quality of Lewis Brown wont take us anywhere .

I'm not saying they will, but it looked like everybody else had pulled up stumps early and he was the only guy who wanted that ball at the end of the game. If everybody was putting in that effort who knows what might've happened.

all these feelgood stroies in the media , i dont like it at all... no more press, players believing their own hype. Just get out there and do what your paid to do .. that was not the worst ive seen, but the last two weeks , has been the most disappointing ive seen in a long long time , everything to play for , the dogs bought us down to their level , then capitalised on it

Unless we inject more quality players in this team nothing will happen as far as us being serious title contenders . Lewis Brown would not make it in any top 8 team and neither would some of his team mates .

Shame Api and Walker (funnily, 2 of the players laughing with the opposition after the game) were out on the piss with Taufua and Norman in the early hours of the very day they played. Says a lot about their priorities.

Didn't like the one about how they played soccer during the week instead of normal training? How refreshing it was, and shows how much Baz cares about the players.

It is not unusual to see players from losing teams have a laugh after a game and I see it all the time on tv . Walker ran hard today and Api had a hand in one of our tries

Not talking after the game mate. They were allegedly on a bender the night / morning before. It's about priorities my friend. People pay their hard earned watching these guys. People like @ALinda travel and spend time to watch these events. Honestly, for mine, it shows a certain level of commitment to the cause. Why should fans care, when the players aren't obviously taking things as serious (as they potentially should be).

Also, the effects of alcohol on athletes is detrimental due to dehydration, and also when you're metabilising alcohol, a body doesn't produce as much glucose, resulting in lower levels of blood sugar, creating lethargy (something our team looked like it had plenty of today).

There is an attitude problem. We were beating teams up only 7 weeks ago. Now we look like cream puffs. I put this down in part to attitudes like this mate.

They were allegedly on a bender night ....
Allegedly meaning : used to convey that something is claimed to be the case or have taken place, although there is no proof.

Replying to @ReadingThePlay @SMHsport and

That would be about as bad as it gets if true, given the importance of today's game

Oh it's true.

Obviously Baz is a coaching novice...................it may take a few years for him to understand the various "football" codes and the skill sets required for each one!!

Having said that I didn't see anyone of our players get nutmeg'd or miss a header all game................so kudos where kudos is due!!

It might show he cares about the players, but he clearly doesn't care about winning. They should have been hitting the tackle bags instead of kicking soccer balls around.

Post says yesterday at 4.40pm. Then he says "tonight i ran into". If he posted it at 4.30pm couldn't be Sat night. Makes no sense. Anyway let's hope they weren't out on the drink.

Sorry Bozo, but it is a pet hate of mine. I played my fair share of footy, and when we got smacked (especially by a side you should've beat), we would, of course shake hands at the end of the game. But that was it, you were (or should be) so pissed off with losing, the last thing you'd be doing is laughing it up with the opposition.
Api was good. As for Walker, he's gone back to his bullshiit sideways running again.

I saw walker run hard and straight in to the forwards as well and the reason he ran sideways was because the halves didn't create any opportunities for him .
We will agree to disagree
