Do you know something we all don’t know, that we are the next “ Fairytale “??

Because all I’ve seen for 5 years is Fairytales and without one I think we are screwed!

I know many things that you all don't know!!
As to fairytales, we won't be the NRL's preferred fairytale but could get sucked into the vortex created by their wish for an Eel fairytale.

I disagree. He played better this year than in his best years when we won the premiership. During those years he had champions around him who shared the load. He is now captain and the main go to player for the Sea Eagles. Many of his skills, his defence, his kicking game, 40/20s, repeat sets, setting up attacking and tries are superior to his previous play. He played better than Cronk this year and the stats show that. Morgan wasnt his match statistically, especially with defence and kicking. Thurston was a once in a generation player, and yet this year DCEs performances were not that far behind JT at his best. The other contenders are limited in their skills, brilliant in one or two areas, but they dont have the skill package DCE has. JT was the best, Cronk on his day a year or two back was better but in my opinion the only half seriously rising who could challenge DCE in the next few years would be Cleary, who also has a good bag of tricks

Dce seemed to be doing a lot more defending than usual and it could hve impacted his involvement towards the end of games. But he is one of the best halfs in the comp

you are right about the players around him all senior all serious contenders and stars.. but he's lost a lot of things that made him great. In his 1st 3 years he was outstanding. half way through 2014 after laying on 6 try assists against canberra he was touted best player in the game.. then he slide far far down and became the garbage man. It was clear snake didn't want to help him and it killed dces game and without Glenn helping him he had nothing. In 2013 he won Clive Churchill medal in a cheated team. The things he did from 2011 - 2013 he has now lost.. were is has his great show and go gone? What happened to the short side raids? we were the best at that now it's none existent. He was once the best tactical kicker in the game and had the best fend! He also has a great cut out pass which he doesn't have any more. He has gone backwards imo but with green and Tommy and walker he did have a good year but towards the end he failed imo. we should of made the top 4 but he didn't guide us in those crucial games like the tigers bulldogs and warriors game and the finals match against panthers. The likes of Morgan lifted and led his team to a gf and he's not half as good as dce can be. people say foran made dce LOL it was always the Stewarts and Ser Jamie and snake made foran along with matai now look at him lol

We know what you are trying to do Mitchell Pearce. But just because Cronk is being pursued by your club doesnt mean we are interested in swapping you for DCE. DCE is a much better player
