PLAYER | AGE | POSITION | PREVIOUS CLUB

MICHAEL CHEE KAM (@chee_kam)| 21 | BACK ROW | RAIDERS
A stand out in the Toyota Cup Team of the Year, Chee Kam is one of the most promising junior talents in the competition and a great first grade prospect for the Sea Eagles in 2013.

DANE CHISHOLM (@dane_chisholm) | 22 | HALF/ FIVE-EIGHTH | TIGERS
Talented playmaker who made his NRL debut for the Storm in 2011. The son of former Manly halfback Rick Chisholm, Dane is returning to his roots on the peninsula.

RICHIE FA’AOSO | 28 | PROP | STORM
Hardworking front rower who makes great metres running steaming straight lines. Sure to be a handful for opposition packs in 2013. He has plenty of first grade experience, including this year's grand final win, under his belt.

JACOB GAGAN | 20 | OUTSIDE BACK | EELS
Former Australian Schoolboy and one of Parramatta's most imactful Toyota Cup stars in 2012. Speed demon and classy finisher who has plenty of NRL potential.

DAVID GOWER | 27 | PROP | DRAGONS
A mobile front rower with a great offload and fend. He was the Illawarra Cutters' NSW Cup player of the Season in 2012 and made a handful of first grade appearances for the Dragons this year.

JAMES HASSON (@jameshasson13) | 20 | BACK ROW | SHARKS
Impressive young back rower, born in England but played his junior footy in Sydney. Can tackle and doesn't mind scoring a try. Also a mad Liverpool fan.

PETA HIKU | 21 | OUTSIDE BACK | WARRIORS
Very damaging runner who played wing, fullback and five-eighth for the Warriors Toyota Cup side in 2012. He stood out in every position, distinguishing himself as the Warriors' U20s Player of the Year and earning a spot in the Junior Kiwis. Addicted to breaking tackles, his metres for 2012 were only topped by fellow Sea Eagles signing Ligi Sao.

BRENTON LAWRENCE | 27 | PROP | TITANS
Powerful forward with plenty of pace and footwork who's worked his way up from Adelaide park footy. He stepped up for the Titans this year, making the most of every one of his minutes. He'll add strength and depth to the Sea Eagles pack.

JUSTIN LEMALU | 20 | PROP | SEA EAGLES NYC
One of the most outstanding performers in the Sea Eagles Toyota Cup side. Proved his impact when he returned from injury and inspired Manly's late-season surge. Absolute workhorse and huge yard gainer.

LIGI SAO (@LigiSao) | 20 | PROP | WARRIORS
Powerhouse prop who plays long minutes and chews through the metres every game. One of the leading front rowers in the Toyota Cup in 2012, he's a big kid with a big future. Sao is sure to be a cracker signing for the Sea Eagles.

JESSE SENE-LEFAO (@jsenelefao) | 23 | BACK ROW | PANTHERS
On the verge of making his NRL debut at Penrith and the loss of a couple of back rowers sees plenty of opportunity for him to crack first grade at the Sea Eagles.

Guys, awesome to see so much fresh blood into the club!! Well done again to the coaching and development team. Justin Lemalu was a standout prop in Toyota cup and is massively rated. Jake and Sao have the wraps for future props but this kid is excellent as well!

Some of our established players will be on notice (especially the forwards) Lawrence, Faaoso, Hasson, Chee Kam and Jesse will be wanting starting or bench spots. Kite, King, Rose and Joe will need to start well.

Jorge will have competition from Gagan and Hiku.

If he is found guilty I would say he will cop a suspension or even get flicked so back up is essential.

aside from possible suspension i dont think jorge has anything to worry about, whereas the other wing spot, with wolf & his constant injuries will be the one others will vie for

Dave Taylor, Idris and Ryan James should all play on the same side of the field.

They would have to put supports under that side to stop the field from collapsing.

Great reading BE. Thanks for the information. Didnt they also get Ben Musolino for a year from St George....another second rower

With Gutherson and Trbojovic, they have quite a junior and NSW cup group to back up and press for first grade. And then there's the potential next 'Irvine' in Qld speedster Josh Robinson who is apparently potentially the fastest kid to come along since Irvine and Cleary. Only 16 and still two years from first grade but also potentially a world class professional runner and already a champion junior speedster.

A few of the new boys were down at the Mall today having lunch. Ligi Sao is a tank! Dean Whare was with them, no doubt crying about having to drive to the riff everyday!

Didn't they introduce a mandatory age of 20 to play NRL? If so he is 4 yrs away.

This guy may have been handy to offset Ballin.

England international Scott Moore will be a North Queensland Cowboy for the next two years after finalising his move from Super League to the NRL.

The 24-year-old hooker will arrive in North Queensland at the end of next week to join his new club with the goal of becoming only the second Brit to play with the Cowboys in the game’s premier competition.

Moore comes to Australia after playing 138 matches in Super League and the Challenge Cup with St Helens, Castleford, Huddersfield and Widnes.

Or not......

SBW confirmed at Roosters, no big surprise.

http://www.foxsports.com.au/league/nrl-premiership/sydney-roosters-confirm-signing-of-cross-code-superstar-sonny-bill-williams-for-2013-nrl-season/story-fn2mcuj6-1226515742774

Tried looking for the age limit for first grade. But I'm pretty confident its 18. So all of the players mentioned except for young Josh, will be eligible to play first grade next year.

Adrian Ha'angaga

Have we signed this guy?

It is reported on here http://www.marathonstadium.com/showthread.php?11143-2013-NRL-Player-Rumours-amp-Signings

That we have
