Agree with all of that except I’d push Bazza Elsegood up to a pass. My admittedly hazy memory tells me he went well at the chooks. Checked his stats and they tend to agree, at least in terms of try scoring where he had a much better strike rate at the chooks:

Manly - 25 tries from 72 games over 4 years (93 - 96)

Easts - 35 tries from 77 games over 4 years (97 - 90).

I hope we aren't too disappointed - to me it is a like for like change.

Talent and skill wise II cant see us improving, nor being any worse off. But yes I too am very excited.

Might be just the change we need.
