Congratulations to Jake and Chez, named again for the Kangaroos, as expected.
Interesting that Liam Martin is the only second row specialist named. Could the specialist edge forward be going out of fashion, replaced by mobile workaholic middles?

Latu Fainu have also been named. It will be interesting to see if he gets gets any game time. Last year, Isaiya Katoa at age 18 was selected from the Panthers NSW Cup side for Tonga in the WC & played every match. He also had a solid debut season with the Dolphins. I think Latu has similar ability & could be playing NRL as early as next year.

Match highlight for me was the classic don't argue fend that Glen Hall put on Englis. The snap shot of this has remained in my memory more than any other incident from the match.
Here he is Feathered friend
Your Man and our Great Premiership Winning Manly Man Glen Hall

He is seen here bursting through busted tackles and setting up another Manly record 40 to Nil try
Glen had stints at the Dogs the Rabbits and the Roosters and played at his Premiership Winning Peak at Manly

Mudgee game for 2024 scrapped.

In more positive news, 2024 is the last year we take a home game to Brisbane for Magic Round.

Any chance of swapping the Brissie magic rd game for the Mudgee game...just sayin..

If the club maintains the Brisbane sell-off match after 2024 then it will confirm our owners favour money over community. I've attended all three Mudgee matches and made the event a cherished long weekend. The townspeople appreciate our support, so let's hope it's back on the schedule in 2025.

Hooray - on the ‘Sub-tropical Parrramatta’ front.

Yep, this is a case of bad news slightly tempered by good news.

Wish it was our Brisvegas "home game" we were forsaking for Las Vegas instead of Mudgee, but money overrules everything unfortunately.

Apparently there's a new home jersey and new logo. Anyone seen it. I'm looking at you @The Wheel

I thought this was the case. Huge discounts on jerseys at the moment, so a new logo was the only thing I could think of that would warrant this. We get a new jersey every year, so had to be more than that.

I've lost count of the many jerseys we've had over the last 20yrs or so. Does anybody have an actual count on this.
