Even if we manage to turn something around, a couple more scores like this and the points against will end any chance of salvaging the season. Fk me next week is going to be a massacre against the Panthers

Hey all, just worked it out. Des is playing these crap players in a hope another club wants to become sh@t so we can sign other crap players

No heart or effort in defence, too many attempts at arm grabs and giving up on plays. Yet we all know that barring any injuries it will be the same 17 next week

Lol. Perhaps, horrific. Maybe a complete debacle...🙂
At least we have signs of life... Schu, Aloia, Tof, Guac & Paseka...
Promising players who when joined by some of our "superstars" should make a formidable team.

Just very sad that Des cannot see this.

Oh, yes, and prize winning centre to play in position - who woulda thunk?

Sort of ,he has this year and next year to go, he's 31 and the club said if he can find a deal beyond next year then he's free to go as we probably won't be extending beyond next year
why would we pay $800K a season to a player when we concede week in week out 30+ points, does anyone in this team know the team song?

I renewed my flexi game family memberships without reading the fine print.

Subsequently realised my $215 got me zero games under the 75 club.

I felt ripped off that I won't get any games as part of my membership.

Now I realise they've done me a massive favour not making me go.

Many Thanks. Blessing in disguise.

I don't think Des has paid any attention whatsoever to the rule changes over the past two seasons and the effect they would have on the way the game is played. Last year we were clearly missing Api yet here we are going into a season without a recognised Hooker.

Last season we were kept in the game because we had the best Forward in the game and were dominant in the first and last 20min of most games while he and Tapau were on the field. We let him leave and replaced him with a reserve grader.

The game has got faster yet we look like we are playing in slow motion. Slow play the balls, no easy meters from dummy half, terrible service from dummy half, no go forward and no direction.

Still lacking creativity in attack besides a slight improvement in the flow of our combinations. And there is no urgency or aggression in defence, our defensive line is too slow, our kick return chase is pathetic. Our centres keep making lazy mistakes. It's just all wrong in defence. In attack I can see us slowly improving but Garrick and Parker are holding us back. Parker is too slow and Garrick gets bullied, starts our kick returns in a negative way. Suli has good moments in attack, still very slow, but is also one of the laziest defenders I have ever seen. We are in an absolute hole, we can't even look forward to any changes coz Des won't make any.

I’m guessing Des is on some moneyball ego trip. I’m sure he believes he is smarter than everybody else and is convinced he knows something no one else can see. And he may be right, but he’s playing a high risk game with his legacy and reputation. I suspect he needs to review his indicators and parameters if he’s playing a numbers game.

Anyone want to bet that this will pretty much be the team that takes the field against Penrith?

Walker, Saab, Parker, Suli, Garrick, Foran, Cherry-Evans, Paseka, Croker, Taupau, Gosiewski, Schuster, Trbojevic. Bench - Cust, Aloiai, Keppie, Sipley/Boyle.
What are we starting at mate lol

Marty tried an offload in that first set of six. Knock on.

Gosiewski dropped it in the next set when the backline was in motion.

Not long after croker knocked on at dummy half.

THAT is when I switched off. 15 mins into the game.
In the first 7 min they made 3 mistakes
