The NYC are struggling at 6-22 HT

But the hit our no 8 Eddie Paealiki put on the Dog's 8 is worth the price of admission.
6mins before HT near the North end - whooska, the ground shook and the Dog 8 was escorted off the field :p

I am Willy looked to be a more confident, much improved player from last year.
I am prepared to give him another shot at the NRL, and like any bloke that doesn't give up and wears the Maroon and white, I will support him and wish him well.
Go Willy, rip it into em!!!

I had a feeling that if Snake was out then Wiliame would be on the wing. As said, I hope that tonight is a drought breaker for the kid.

He looked a completely different player in the 9's (I know it's not really representative), but seemed bigger and fitter and far more confident in himself. I hope he has a blinder!

Bets of luck to Trent and the boys tonight. It's been a long off season but we've finally made it to game day. Very exited to see the new look team, and with a bit of good luck on the injury front we should be thereabouts come the pointy end of the season. Hope it's a bumper crowd to start the season, rip in fellas. Go Manly!!!

8 debutantes tonight. That's the most since Round 1 2004 when we had 9. Remember who they were ?

Andrew Walker (FB), Paul Stephenson (CE), Chris Hicks (WG), Jye Mullane (5/8), Michael Monoghan (HB), Daniel Heckenberg (PR), Nathan Hollingsworth (HK), Ian Donnelly (PR), Kylie Leuluai (Res), Shayne Dunley (Res)

And you can throw in Des who made his coaching debut that day.

None had played for Manly before that.
