In 20 mins the 400m womens' f/style final is on and it should be a cracker!

And it was!

Gooooold for Mollie, silver for Ariane in the 200 free.

What a race...that was special with (note) Mollie and Ariarne!

I really love the swimming and we're doing so well. Also love the commentary by Thorpey. I'm sleep deprived but it's worth it!

Watched that one, Canadians finished to good, that dropped ball after the Canadian second try hurt the Aussies.

Canada go down to NZ 19-12 - and both teams were really happy.

I hate it when the commentators (men’s triathlon) have the Kiwi boy basically with the gold medal around his neck with five minutes to go. And sure as shiit the pommy world champ goes past him with less than a minute to go to snatch the gold from Wilde. Never right off champions that far out. Especially the triathlon. Points go to the bloke in white who gave the cameras a great shot of him throwing up after he crossed the line.

Good to see Simone kicking arse again.
That bronze medal loss in the woman’s 7 rugby was hard to see. Especially the interview with the Aussie captain.

Of course the Aussie women swim team are on fire 🔥

I heard someone else complain about the number of ads on ch 9 - sounds like they've taken it too far. It's not as if there's not a ton of events going on all the time!

6 degrees is also cold here. I'd 'probably' have to wear a track suit. But our homes and clothes are better insulated against the cold.

Anyway - if the olympians can handle it, so can you! lol

I watched the Aussie guy in the trap shooting the night before, then the Aussie guy in the BMX last night, who were both supposedly going to medal but were eliminated. However both these girls did awesome!

All those BMX'ers are amazing!

Muggings, rapes and robberies reported on most days and the main river is not fit to swim in. And as you say to many ads as well. I'll stick to the footy thanks.
