Any other Tour fans?  As much as I'd like to see Evans win, I can't see him beating Astina by himself.

Agreed. I love watching the tour and will spend school holidays do so, in between cricket etc. Did not watch last night due to some tennis game.

Can't see Evans winning. Needs to have a decent team.

I think it must be all the jiggling around on the cobblestones that does it for them ;)

    I think you mean Astana?

    Astina is an old Mazda

I'm surprised it took you this long Fro.

I don't just like watching the jiggling around in spandex, I love the experience of it too.

I have watched it the last few years.  If Evans can not win I hope Armstrong does.  After last nights effort I think Evans has no hope now.

Evans is no hope, he should have tried to jump ship into a decent team.  The Armstrong vs Contodor battle on Saturday is going to be telling.  If Armstrong gets to 2200 metres first they'll be hard pressed to make him work for Contodor to wear yellow.

Too early to call, we are not even in the mountains.....

As for the spandex i ride and wear too much lycra....so have no issue in watching people in it

These fellows bagging the spandex need to try a 100km ride without it.  A few cramps in the quads and glutes will change their tune.

I didn't know you cycled, Mata. Nice Ridley -- how do you find your Arione saddle?

    My baby:

That saddle was on it when I bought it.  At the moment I've got a Fizik saddle which is good but resembles sitting on a plank after a couple of hours.  Given there's not too much in the way of hills around here I'm contemplating sacrificing 300g and going back to a Selle with a bit more padding.

    Pay rego ya bludgers!

I'm with dan... I don't get the lycra thing. I saw a bloke just this morning, riding by himself, going far from anywhere near what I would assume was his top speed and was wearing Lycra!!

He wasn't competitively riding so why bother with the lycra... does he really need to shave a couple of seconds off his leisurely ride?? It's pathetic... chuck on a pair of shorts and a shirt ya tossers
