Match Stats

I was struck by the tactics we used as well, and think dessie has come up with a master plan for the ages here...knowing we were light in for middle forwards, we instantly go wide and run them around. One, two hits up the centre then swing it out to the sides. Also, kicking on early tackles then have our fast, mobile players there in droves to pin Parra down. Seems simple, but damn it was effective.

Yup...

Have a look at the super dangerous shoulder charge from Josh.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles can provide the latest injury update from last night’s match against Parramatta Eels at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Centre Brad Parker suffered a head knock and will now follow the normal concussion protocols with the Manly medical team to determine a return to play date.

Full-back Tom Trbojevic also suffered a knock to the cheekbone. Fortunately, the hit was on a plate that he has from a previous fracture which prevented a serious injury from occurring.

Tom has some swelling and bruising around the site. He will be given every chance to prove his fitness for next Friday night’s match against the Canberra Raiders.

I couldn't find one to post. Normally there is one on both their facebook and twitter sites but not this week for some reason.

To make up for the lack of, here (from our previous win against them), is our Round 11 Team Victory Song:

With the media team still in Sydney, one of the footy staff have been doing it recently. Guess they might have been caught up with injuries to Parks and Turbo or they were just too damn excited to get their phone out

Was that from the cheap shot from Sivo late in the game?

Eels investigation imminent

At least 6 eels players appear to have been to hairdressers in the past week, in a flagrant breach of covid rules.

It is believed that hairdressers were smuggled into the eels’ bubble, with a range of bleaching, dyeing and other hair care products.

When probed after the game a newly coiffed and blond Dylan Brown denied the accusation, “I’m a natural blond, I just let it grow out.”
Daughter and I were speculating they spent the whole week doing each other's hair at training.
Explains their automatic reaction to go for the head last night.
Muscle memory, but forgot the clippers.

I thought turbo's cheek knock was some friendly fire from saab.

they both went to tackle some nuffy in the corner and Tom went 'flying' backwards.

Not long after the trainer was on attending to the cheek area (face cheek ya perverts).

um, the end.
