Agreed but, in my mind, I think that he had to go to start the healing process as I don't think that Max would have agreed to any compromise until he was gone.

I'm glad Delmege, Penn and some of the board took my advice and decided to stand down from the board, if I knew my request would have had this reaction I would have requested it much sooner  ;D ho hum I will know better next time  😀

If the official announcements from Manly come from whoever is CEO plus the chairman when appropriate, I will be happy. The board business can be behind closed doors, Max can enjoy being a supporter and owner (rather than a spokesperson) and hopefully the football club can focus on doing what is best for Manly as a footy team. Everyone happy and focus on what is on the paddock!! 🙂
