means we should all be a lot more forgiving of Curtis Sironen then.
He has 6 years to be at the peak of his powers? I'm not sure that the Silvertails can wait that long.
Thompson is a good 1st grader, and if anyone thinks his best years are in front of him, please have a look a small bridge I have for sale between Milsons Point and the Rocks. A bit old, but its at the peak of its powers too.

We are severely lacking in experience and mongrel. We had the least experienced side of the top eight teams and less than many of the bottom eight.
Its not like Thompson has been on a downward spiral in terms of form; in fact, he probably had close to his best season this year. He is aggressive, a strong defender, a good edge runner and consistent - all the things we lack in that position.
He will be an excellent signing for us.
So was Nate Myles.

Nate still looked a little past it. Thompson just had a brilliant season, and his stats match, even better, some of the best second rowers in the game. We need his experience as well, as was mentioned

What rubbish. Nate Myles was on the decline for years, was older than Thompson, couldn't run for his life - so how is that a comparison?
