I would have preferred to blood Funa tonight; he could be a big part of our future with his size being far in excess of Elliot.

Miski isn't top 30 - only on development contract. Pre-COVID rules were that development players could be only used after June 30 without clearance, not sure what the situation is now that competition has been reset.

Haven't heard much about the June 30 cutoff for squads to be finalised either actually. Usually this time of year is full of rumour with players seeking releases for midseason transfers. Not sure if June 30 is still a thing this season

Not sure which winger is marking Coates but they need to be on their game. Haven’t seen a more likely young three quarter than him up here for years. They will kick to his corner all night and he can pluck it from nowhere.He destroyed our young Manly blokes when they had that national play off In the 18s.

I recall you've mentioned Coates before, don't think I'd seen him until last night but you are spot on. Interesting problem for Broncos, they can't let a talent like that leave but his next contract will need to be very large indeed.
