lol  trex it isnt the tries he scores  that blows me out its the ones  he should be scoring but doesnt..  if he was positioning himself like a good winger should  im sure he would have nailed about 22 tries this yr.. instead of 16..    he blows tries 3rd graders could score than scores ones that  no one could score ..

Size doesn't relate to talent & heart. Toovey for example. JOhns wasn't the biggest player. I remember forwards like Owen Cunningham, Kevin Walters and co.

I tell you this. T-Rex may have the size, but he LOOKS to lack the heart, passion and aggression required to play first grade....and before anyone suggests the amount of tries he scored, my three year old daughter Anika could stand beside one Jamie Lyon, and get over the try line.

Your 3 year old would have you covered for height as well wouldnt she ? ;)

I don't know about a three year old getting over the line Ryan.  Seems like asking a lot.  Although it probably depends on how close she is to the line when the ball was given to her.

Zorba said on sports Sunday this morning that Manly has signed a 15 year old 6' 5\" Centre from the Central Coast called Liam Knight

Manly have about 10 - 12 kids from the Central Coast - 5 from the Kincumber Colts alone.

Would that be Terry Hill sending them to Manly?
[/quote]

Not really - he with the Seniors and not the juniors.... Both run seprately....

Cowboys in race as Houston re-enters the NRL orbit
December 22, 2010
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/cowboys-in-race-as-houston-reenters-the-nrl-orbit-20101221-194hi.html

NORTH QUEENSLAND are one of ''two or three'' clubs chasing Chris Houston but the former Knights forward wants to stay and play in Newcastle.

The Knights have tabled a three-year offer to Houston, who had four drugs supply charges dismissed by Magistrate Elaine Truscott in Newcastle Local Court last Friday, and hope he rejoins the club by the end of the week. Houston's manager, John Jansen, said the 25-year-old utility forward was equally eager to settle his future and get on with rebuilding what had been a promising 63-game NRL career. Jansen acknowledged the Knights had the inside running but said it was his responsibility to secure a financial deal that was in Houston's best interests. The Cowboys are believed to have room in their salary cap because they have lost forwards Luke O'Donnell (Huddersfield), Willie Mason (Hull KR), Carl Webb (Eels), Steve Rapira (Warriors), and Antonio Kaufusi and Steve Southern to the Knights.

From what I can tell we only have 3 new signings for the new season?
Daniel Harrison (from Bulldogs) Tim Robinson (from Eels) and Gary Thomas-Ah Moy (from Bradford Bulls) am I missing anyone?

Like many others on here I'm bit worried about our depth in the centres noticed that Souths are willing to release Dylan Farrell might be someone to get a hold of
