First two days have been amazing! I love the day/night test and can strongly recommend it for those even just mildly interested in cricket. First day we were under the scoreboard next to the Barmy Army. They are an entertaining lot, and the "We are the Barmy Army", has been an ear worm for the last two days! Second day in the Eastern Grandstand. A couple of 'yobbos' escorted out from the hill barely into the 2nd session. I guess that is one of the issues is that a lot of liquid lunches happen on the way to the ground and some people are well on their way before a ball is bowled.
Anywho. Photos coming for those interested! Go Australia!

The great Mark Taylor. In my humble

opinion, our greatest skipper!

Nice Pics!

A good start from Eng. I went to bed at 2-140 and woke for them all out for 236 (sheesh...coulda shown me a few wickets.)

I think Eng will be playing for a draw? Their 2nd innings will have more blocks than a lego factory.

Aussies bat for 2 sessions today and they'll be over 450 ahead. Neser a chance of doing a Dizzy and knocking up a ton as night watchman. Will Harris get north of 50 ?

That gives us the twilight session at the Poms again today and if need be a new ball for tomorrows twilight session.

I think Gazza might have a significant part to play tomorrow though.

I wonder how close Smith was to enforcing the follow-on? With Lyon bowling a stack of overs, the quicks would have been relatively fresh.

Had to laugh when KP tweeted about how rubbish Lyon was, only for the GOAT to take 3 poles.

Nice for Green to take a couple of weeks too. If he can take key wickets like he has the last two innings with Root, it’s such a major benefit to the bowling attack. Just want him to get some runs now.

Being a Pom originally, but now a long time Aust citizen. The red blue and white still runs through my veins. And after watching another Eng batting collapse, it's now looking more and more like a 5 niller. Not having Archer is a big blow for the Poms also. Sydney is Eng only hope, and that will depend on who wins the toss.

Kevs’ employers must love him. His click-bait comments must surely keep their ad sponsors happy.

edit: Oof, that one boundary from T. Head was more runs than scored in the previous 8 overs combined...!

I like the look of young Richardson. (Sure his first innings figures weren’t great). But he got his first test wicket early on, and has troubled the Poms on that off stump. And Cameron Green, what’s his wing span at Gully, moves so quick for a big bloke.

I'm sure you all know but just in case....

cricket.com.au does decent extended day highlights.
