It sounds like the insider trading bet was on us to win against the Rabbitohs, which is mind-boggling, because probably half of us thought we would lose that hahaha.

The fixes are usually on more exotic bets than who will win. Did anything odd happen in that match?

Never safe to believe news reports about exactly what has been charged, but ... based on the reports, the betting offence has a max penalty of 2 years, but supply dangerous drug carries 15 years - which puts it well over the NRL's 11 year threshold for automatic stand-down.

I agree. The alleged betting charge will be dealt with far harsher by the NRL than the alleged drug charge. They are really hot on betting scandals.
