It sounds like the insider trading bet was on us to win against the Rabbitohs, which is mind-boggling, because probably half of us thought we would lose that hahaha.

The fixes are usually on more exotic bets than who will win. Did anything odd happen in that match?

‘Earlier this year, Roosters chairman Nick Politis said he wanted a zero-tolerance policy at the club when it came to drugs.

“My view is if somebody’s caught doing cocaine or leaning over snorting something, we’re going to get rid of them,” Politis told The Sunday Telegraph. “Our stance is zero tolerance. We are very strong on it. Trent [Robinson] is very strong on it.”’

Maybe they will offload ‘The Lawnmower’.

Never safe to believe news reports about exactly what has been charged, but ... based on the reports, the betting offence has a max penalty of 2 years, but supply dangerous drug carries 15 years - which puts it well over the NRL's 11 year threshold for automatic stand-down.

Drug supply is bad enough but hard to see how he could be allowed back to play professional sport if he turns out to be guilty on the betting one.
