What’s really killing our 2025 season?

It is far more than 1 problem and this is why this topic will go around in many circles, but same time makes it interesting, but for what it's worth the responsability is from in a big way the players - to coaching (including staff) - to injuries - to maybe a tad of "inhouse" friction/divisions since the DCE "sudden" announcement.
When Demetriou was at Souths
Souths were underachieving
There was division amongst players
Latrell was out of control
South were badly underperforming and Demetriou Lost his Job

Now that The Great Bennett is back
Souths are over achieving
The players are united
Latrell is under control
Their Inspirational captain Murray has been out all season , Their Key play maker Walker out for extended period as well as other first graders in souths heavy season injury list
He has players playing above their weight and winning over their high profile opponents

Why are Great coaches Great ?
Because Great coaches override Excuses and Overachieve

The cow makes the freshest milk and this man coaches it to give it to him every day. Moral of the story ...... milk matters.
Thank you very much for that wonderful pic of Honey the Milking Cow
Because it becomes a very significant topic of my reply .....
and that is
Under Seibold Manly will never become the Land of Premiership Winning Milk and Honey

What Killed the Dogs Seasons ?
The People responsible for running their club off the field . Like their Mediocre Board Members
The People responsible for running their team on the field Like their Mediocre Head coach Trent Barrett

Now that these Mediocre people are now gone
the Bulldogs Club has Gone back to Greatness

The moral of the story
Is Obvious

Great pic of the Monkey feathered and thank you for posting an other significant moral of the story post ....

The Mediocre Monkeys running our club on and off the field are making a Mockery out of our
Legendary club Benchmark Premiership Winning High Standards

If your Matt John’s and Manly do let DCE go in June, do you throw Jack Arthur’s in at half and go and buy the best available prop for the rest of the season? The Rooster 5/8 at the moment is a clone of Arthur’s and defends well and plays his role in the team without being the best player on the park

You mean Jake Arthur? If so, yes you could, but I would throw Walsh in there.

If that was to happen yes I'd go internal the rest of the season (most likely Arthur, possibly Walsh).

That said I wouldn't just grab whatever the best prop available is.

We need to find the right forward and right opportunity.
