The thing is he is contracted to the Titans until the end of 2016. That means he can only leave if they release him and media reports are that they won't. I hope they stick by that decision, they deserve him in their club.

On the Bird is a possible signing front......er, no thanks. He may be a current rep forward, but what are we running here, a football team or a bloody nursing home for players on their last legs? Personally I think he got a test jumper this year on reputation alone and his performance proved that, though at least NSW have seemingly seen the light.

Who of DCE's friends are we going to be linked to next? Ben Barba? Or is Troy Evans going to come out of retirement as the backup hooker to Matty Ballin?

Sounds like the biggest issue is that the Titans are unlikely to release him. I've never been a fan of Bird as a person but he's a rep player with a tough edge, which we need to get some intimidation back into our pack.
