This is dire, so awful.

Total failure to implement the basics of the game.

We again witness, endless dropped balls, tries being conceded on the next set from turnovers, again not interested in dealing with attacking kicks. Guys being exposed time and time again being out of position.

No leadership or direction from our 7, who is so off his game it is laughable, the folly exposed of no quality 9

And I need to say this, a coach who is totally out of touch with what is required. That is now 11 out of 12 defeats and there is no end to this mess.

In the first 25 mintues tonight there was an opportunity. They were not that great and their defence and kick chase was the glaring difference between the sides.

I am so tired of seeing the same players making the same mistakes. I know it only 3 games but its time for significant change. Put in players who what to do this and ditch the serial mistake makers!!

We are staring at our first ever spoon and this is sobering.

You have to question what happened over the off season? We are so slow and look so behind the teams we have played so far. We lack energy, authority, leadership and passion!!

The silver lining is we have some great young fellas, Schuster, Keppie and Paseka are going to be great.

What we need is a decisive 9 to organise the team and halves who can get us repeat sets. The dropped ball was ridiculous, on a dry night, NO EXCUSES!!!!

Great post, and hate to burst your enthusiasm with the young fellas, but fact is they won't get better or develop under this coaching staff and the support needed from fellow players.
If they want to fulfill their potential best they leave Manly under this environment.

This would mean we would have a representative fullback playing fullback and a representative centre playing centre so maybe enough to turn things around.

And I don't think one player is enough to fix this complete shambles up (even if they were the best player in the world), to win one single game at this point.

Not a bad idea, adding players - maybe if we played all 17 on the field at once our defense would improve. Can we ask for a special dispensation because of defensive ineptitude? The RL equivalence of pleading insanity?

You only get a 2 minute penalty for having too many men on the ice in the NHL.

Maybe have all 17 of our sieves on at once, and take the penalty for what it is hahaha

I’ve worn my new heritage jersey 3 weeks in row hoping for a win. My usual stance is if we lose wearing a jersey, I must wear a new one the next week. We win I keep going with it. Well I gave Tge heritage enough chances it’s gone next week.
