John Hopoate Blocked By The NRL

  • We had an issue with background services between march 10th and 15th or there about. This meant the payment services were not linking to automatic upgrades. If you paid for premium membership and are still seeing ads please let me know and the email you used against PayPal and I cam manually verify and upgrade your account.
A couple of things stick out for me.
1 -who is running the NRL now?
2- was there not a court case lately where current gold coast titans were shown to be in regular contact with organised criminals to buy "wine"? Why did we not kick them out?
3-JulieanneLevick is making a shtiload out of the hoppa family, for good or bad.
 
Seems like it must ok for Hopoate to coach adults (e.g., the national Tongan side) and not kids. Why else would the NRL have allowed him to do the coaching course and allow him to coach in past? Strange why they do not want him to coach now.
 
Could it be that if we stand him down then technically we are the liable party and his barrister will come after us for unfair dismissal. So we are working with the NRL to get them to ban him so the blood is not on our hands. But because these muppets at NRL HQ don't have jurisdiction over SG Ball they are threatening us to take the hit but we wont because it will be us making the descision and not the NRL. Its a 4 way mexican stand off. Because Hoppa's lawyer is threatening legal action against anyone who does this.
1. Hoppa (knows he will get a payout from someone if he is sacked but wont quit cause he needs the cash from coaching.)
2. NSWRL (They have approved it and cant now go back or they will be liable to get sued.)
3. Manly (NSWRL see above won't ban him so technically he is allowed to coach, if we ban him then it was our decision and we are liable and will be challenged by his lawyer. Even though we have made a mistake and dont really want to challenge the NRL we unfortunately cant back out as the NRL don't have jurisdiction over the SG Ball so they can't do anything except penalise us to get to Hoppa & they wont force us directly to sack him because then they will be liable).

It was clearly a dumb idea to give him a job in the first place, im not sure why we are still looking after the Hopoate's after what they did to the club in 2011. Especially when Kite approached the club looking for a coaching role last year.

The judge sentencing Packer felt given his remorse and his age and the probability that he would not reoffend that he could be a very positive role model for others who may show the potential for poor off filed behaviour. In other words, as a young man he was extremely lucky and was given a second chance, but still spent 12 months locked up. Hoppa had plenty of second chances, on and off the field. Best he goes away quietly, the game has moved on, we don't need him.

There's a souths board member and an easts board member who were front page news last year brawling in the street.

An absolute disgrace, both have brought the game into disrepute and if the NRL has any gumption it would blacklist this pair immediately.

One of the pair should be barred from the casino too, because according to the opinion of one policeman people who are known to be violent should not be welcome there.
 
Hoppa should be suing that dickhead cop for libelling him by sending that letter the NRL.

G'day all,I was always told it's best to ignore irrelevance but in your case i'll make an exception.If the best you can do is to make disparaging remarks as to the personal intelligence and integrity of people who have a different opinion to you,well all I can say is you must be a deadbeat or a idiot.I do agree with one thing though "I never thought I would be ashamed of fellow Manly supporters and some of their garbage comments ".F### off
