We just picked up another gold at the rowing, never thought I would see the day NZ is on too of Australia on the medal table

Chuck another gold on the tally and we are up to 10th overall

Those 2 guys in the pair, Bond and Murray were incredible.

Bond and Murray are unbelievable, unbeaten in that boat and smashed the world record by a mile in 1 of the heats. He is a real character as well, he reckons his Mrs hates him clean shaven so that is why he runs the mo lol

Drysdale was the big one for me though, so happy with that. 5 time world champion, was a huge favourite in Beijing, but got an extremely bad case of food poisioning, and 3 days before his final he was in hospital on a drip and lost a big amount of weight. He came out and got 3rd in 1 of the gutsiest displays I have ever seen, he had to be carried out of the boat at the end of it

This is bloody hilarious as well haha

Australian broadcaster tries to ignore New Zealand's Olympic success
Australian broadcaster Channel 9 has tried to ignore New Zealand's success at the London 2012 Olympics by missing the country off its medal table.

The relative lack of success by Australian athletes has been one of the major talking points of the Games, particularly among Brits and Kiwis.
Australian competitors have had to get used to silver in London

New Zealand, however, have enjoyed a great first week in London and briefly moved into the top ten of the medal count.

The Australian broadcaster did its best to overlook the fact and opted to omit their traditional rivals from the medal table graphic, reports TVNZ.

Sydney Morning Herald journalist Brad Walter was embarrassed by the decision, tweeting: 'Can't believe Channel 9 only showed top 9 in medal tally plus Australia, then admitted we didn't want to be reminded NZ were 10th.'

New Zealand have since slipped to 12th in the medal count, with three golds and four bronzes, but Australia are 19th, with one gold, ten silvers and six bronzes.

The situation is a major disappointment to the Australian press pack, who saw their team win 14 golds in Beijing.

Their counterparts from across the Tasman Sea have been less than sympathetic to their plight and there have apparently been plenty of sarcastic comments in the international media centre in London.

Kiwi reporter Garth Bray told his Twitter followers: 'Just went over to Aussie TV pool to ask if they need to borrow a gold. Didn't get a word out before they all yelled "we're busy, can't talk".'

Brits on 14 gold, Kiwis on 3. Not easy but I can live with it. I enjoy watching any champions so it is all good. Huge day for Team GB at the athletics.

I should add that the Oz Press need to grow up.

Fair dinkum, there's only so much Marathon a human can watch per unit time, and channel 9 has shown about 467,892 times as much tonight already. Enough.
