Team Lists

Parra were well on top before Cleary was sent off and probably took the foot off the pedal in the second half, as usually happens.
The Slime seem to go a lot better in games they're expected to lose, what worries me this week is that with Moses out, they're expected to lose.
The events of the past week with our team kind of change that perspective a bit imo, no one knows how we're going to go as a team with the obvious division, probably more reasons to think it will effect us adversely

Being a home game the Magnificent 7 will want to put in big games this Friday night. Lots of tension around the team, no better place or time to let it all out. Think Parra are going to cop the brunt of a team hell bent at putting all are troubles behind us.

The best thing the 7 can do to help some of the fans forget all about the past couple of weeks is to play great; defended well and score multiple flashy tries.
All past indiscretions will soon be forgotten.
The only way this will be forgotten.. at least for the moment is for the 7 to play super and we make the 8. If we dont make the 8 they will be blamed... and fans will never forget. If we do make the 8 and any of them play poorly in the semis or even say for at least the next 12 months the cries and howls will be deafening. Just the reality. Making the 8 might put a patch on things for a while but I gather with most fans they will get little leeway.

According a Zero Tackle article, Gutho has been training in the half back position, and Parra are considering having Hayze Pernham at fullback. Our halves should rain Steaden's on the poor fella all night long.

Props Josh Aloiai (knee) and Sean Keppie (shoulder) will miss the game through injuries sustained in the round 19 loss to the Dragons.

Interesting team sheet.

Burbo named on the bench, Schuster the #18.....

The others I expected to be where they are.

We really needed the most reverend Aloiai for this one. That's a big out. Keppie not so , he's been very ineffectual. Marty has huge ?? over seeing he wanted out. Schuster is obviously playing injured. He should just give it away for this year and concentrate on a rehab schedule to get right for 2023. We have the players to win this but do we have the desire or team harmony.

Only time shall tell.

Lose and we are gonski for 2022.

We won’t beat the Sharks and we can only afford one loss , so every other game is a must win.
