Id give him a go back at centre but think he might be a better six the centre in the future

he needs to go back to the position where he excels - that is Centre. He was a pretty decent 6 but a much much better 3 or 4. Just leave him there and if he can stay injury free and that is an if - he will shine.

I guess so! Walker is doing a lot of bashing...... allegedly his wife, the guy in the pizza place....I would prefer he stop the bashing as well!

Mate I just feel he needs to get back to his best position which is centre. He’s our best centre by far & has been playing out of position for most of his career with us. Yes he needs to grow up & his off field discretions are annoying.....but at his best he’s one of our strike weapons. Maybe, just maybe having to chop & change positions constantly has affected his game mentally?

Disco I have been bashing Jurbo but only as an example because of the bashing Marty, Walker & DCE get with regard to value for money. I actually think Jurbo is one of our best players & wouldn’t swap him for anyone but nor would I swap the guys above! I bag Jurbo to get under the skin of the ones who want Marty & Walker gone. I, like you & everyone else, want our players to regain their mojo & passion. Would also be nice to field a full strength team for once with players in their correct positions & in form!

hmmm should be ok I think - knee injury much more difficult. While I was never fast and never tore a hammy lol - I think hammies can be ok to come back from - obviously with Tommy you can re-tear and you have to be more careful but I think pace wise you can get back to what you were or very close.

We should absolutely keep him for halves depth. He isn't costing much at all, and Schuster should definitely by given the six jersey next year if not before; however, if either he or Cherry goes down we are screwed. We have Cust, but he is likely to be the utility and required to cover hooker.

The one thing you didn't mention in an otherwise award winning* post, is 'culture'. Hard to put a dollar value on that. Also some guys, whether due to local roots, or friendships or family connections with other players we like, adds to their value.

Agree re culture. Getting rid of Walker and Suli will be a start.

OK I may as well be first, before others jump on the bandwagon. He is in his first few games as our number one starting hooker, I am 98% certain he has been told to tackle and pass - only!
I wonder how he will be going in another month or two. Based on determination and courage in defence, I'm still backing him.

Personally, I am 100% on giving Walker the boot. I don’t see any redeeming qualities in his game anymore. I was a big fan when we signed him and thought he was outstanding in 2017 when we made the finals. Everything since then has been downhill and I don’t think he has come back the same player from the shattered ankle he suffered playing for Prime Ministers team.

Possibly. But why ain't he playing for us? Why ain't he scoring for us? What else do we need to give him. All he has done is take and what he has given to us as a team player has been disgraceful. He has cost us loads of money and buggered our salary cap just like so many players at other clubs. The only thing left to give him is Karma and quite frankly he is seeing a hell of a lot of it lately. This was clear 2 years ago so what more do we owe this guy. I am sick of the sight of him. All attitude with no brains. And you are asking "Why are his days numbered?". He has made a total dick of himself. You don't just get your s t together overnight. All this crap has consequences. I cant believe we still have this guy as if it were left to me, he would have been gone ages ago. What do we keep him on and put up with him because we don't want the Tigers or dogs to get him. Its not his fault we dont play him at center.. im sure if we didn't he'd start scoring again. Shame he is injured.. fmd we are unlucky. Apparently 8 weeks

The team that won today. I wanna see Walker in it, but only in one position. AND THAT IS BLOODY CENTRE NOWHERE ELSE. He will pose as another strike weapon for us in attack. If he doesn't and he is not the same as he was before then no point resigning him.
