It's the only thing they have ever won.

How dare you forget their amco cup victory, its all they have on the field

I dont think they've ever won the AMCO cup.In another thread, the guys are calling it the Endeavour cup (or similar).

Still was called the AMCO cup in 1979 when they won it. It was the mid week comp.

From memory the Endeavour Cup was for the teams that didn't make the finals in that year

I applaud the idea that kids should be signed up for free. I have been giving away signed flags for years. This works well because it hangs over their bed and reinforces every day who their team is. Once they have an interest then it needs to be followed up. I know that Manly have sent signed birthday cards to juniors in previous years and this is exactly what is needed. There is an upfront cost for the loyalty but the flow on benefits for future years, if managed correctly, will be enormous.

One thing you notice with supporters willing to give time to the club or who are fanatical is that it is usually always a complete family affair, the commitment passed from one generation to the next.

Where does it say that the Sharks won this thing. NRL.com has the Roosters ahead.

well the sharks site says they won and the Manly and  chooks sites are saying nothing
lol thats good enough for me 😉

Thats nothing new the MWSE website is always months behind anyway.

Were there issues with membership packs being sent out or still problems? I received one pack for my son but missing another. I ordered both last October I think at the same time. Also contacted them and spoke to a girl who advised she would get back to me a few weeks ago but still waiting..

Hopefully this means we'll actually start getting crowds better than 13 000 regularly at Brookvale... that'd be good. And targeting kids was a very wise move. Kudos to the membership team, the players and Lowe for thinking of this and their efforts in signing up members. The fan day was not on a great day, but with this 'Battle of the Beaches', I doubt they had much choice. Now mabye they can focus on updating the website and posting the squads!

There was an NRL ad in the paper last week whihc had us over 7000 members  - maybe they dont include the kids memberships?

which leaves about 1500 kids memberships.

2 or 3 years ago the goal was 2,000, if we can keep increasing like this we will have 10,000 in a few years

could be a dumb and obvious question i'm asking - but I got a GA membership so is that included in the Ticketed numbers?? #firsttimemember.

Laughing at Souths again.

They have over 11K ticketed members alone yet somehow they still manage to have a heap of games with less than 8K people there in total. Either they're tax rorting or they have a lot of one or two game members.
