When i read today that Sili had a connection with some of Manly junior players , i thought that this put a different complexion on Manly possibly recruiting him . Would take a bit of time to get into shape and match fitness and preparedness but on a minimal contract , some helpful ' minding " and the right attitude , could be a very handy and beneficial pick up.

We shouldn't be comparing this kid with Carney. Totally different kettle of fish. He is extremely young and troubled. He is known to be quiet, withdrawn and well natured. When you hear him speak you can tell that he's not very confident and sounds unsure of himself.

So his issues are more about motivation and drive. These issues aren't unique to many boys his age in our time. Over time and with careful guidance he will come good.

Carney on the other hand had issues with the drink of all sorts shall we say. But I truly believe he is on the right path. I hear he's doing good work for the Northern Pride on and off the field involving himself in mentoring programs.

So I would be happy to have them both at Manly under the right circumstances .

What is interesting here is I read somewhere that Moses suli played with Taniela Paseka in the under 20s at the tigers and Taniela actually got the player of the year for the under 20s. Poor old Taniela is virtually unknown. I guess being 120kg in the under 20s would of helped however he is lean and a giant. Looking forward to seeing him in first grade. Yet another connection for Moses as well. Bring on 2018!

What I have seen of him - similar to a young BJ Lealua, right down to being a little on the lazy side, yet very dangerous and only in second gear.....the best is yet to come, if he is among the right company.
Has many contacts at Manly....
Similar to Khali Meehan and we all know where he ended up

Thousands of players have had the talent to pay first grade but very few make it

Yes Josh Massoud has just tweeted, deal done will start off in Manly’s Jersey Flegg side.

Not a bad idea, little money, lets see if that environment gets him back on track and if so theres your next centre for you!

Mentioned he has plenty of friends and an old coach here. He’ll be on minimum as a player coming through Flegg. If somehow the environment down here brings out the best in him, I’m happy enough.

The best part is that this points toward tuesday's NRL meeting had a favourable ending for us to even bother chasing this kid.
Yeah that looks great for us, although the twenties aren’t being investigated. Maybe they are pulling a sneaky,,, sign him for twenties and when we’re cleared they’ll add him to the top squad.

I’ve just set up the caravan on at Seven Mile Beach Geroa. Here for the weekend with my wife. Beautiful spot, but talk about a gathering of wanker5. Oh well, nothing a few whiskies won’t fix.
