For mine it's his defence that's the main issue. It doesn't come natural to him, with him often back peddaling which causes players around him to do such. He has speed for sure, and footwork. However, his ball handling can certainly improve plenty, with many games lost due to his crucial errors (eg lost ball against storm, didn't pass against panthers)
All these things are probably fixable with experience, although some of these flaws will linger for a long time. He may be offput by the signing of Hoppa (if we're genuinely interested), although he didn't earn the trust to land him that spot perminantly
I'm mixed, just feel we're a stronger side in 2018 with Hoppa in it, and I don't see why in the long term Kelly can't earn his way back into the side. He'd be used plenty for injury cover in 2018
