I laugh anytime someone says”blow up the bunker” because I guarantee they’d be the first person to whinge when a ref makes a split second decision that is wrong and they have no bunker to correct the call.The problem isn’t the bunker,it’s those operating it

Bunker concept works, everybody can see it was no penalty From the various camera angles. But it’s the bunker official that stuffs up, the consequences should be more than just being dropped 1 week. Not when the video is conclusive and everyone else sees his incorrect adjudication. I can accept the referee erring but not the bunker when they have technology to assist.

I thought the same because it was Lodge involved but replays showed it was likely Ponga's head bouncing off the ground after falling that concussed him.

It's happened to him earlier this season & I genuinely wonder if it might be self-inflicted in his effort to make the initial high contact look worse than it actually was by dramatically falling/throwing himself to the ground.

Talk about Cowboys getting the absolute bull**** calls go their way. I remember a few weeks ago they got a try from a player 5m offside, called offside by the onfield ref but somehow overruled by the bunker... Chris Butler was the bunker official that day. Today Chris Butler allows the Cowboys to challenge a play without a stoppage, then the bunker rules an escort from a player running towards the ball... They are certainly wanted in the top 4 this year.

today it was serial moron Ashley Klien in the bunker from what Fox said ,that call just shows zero knowledge of the game ,zero common sense ,not to mention zero knowledge of the fukn rules .
A disgrace ,how can they get that sooooooo fkn wrong .Its just uncanny how if there is a wrong decision to be made they will find a way to make it and there by manufacture a result .I'm nearly done with it ,as I suspect a lot of other NRL fans are

Not a chance.Media thrive on that sort of stuff and they’d show endless replays of controversial decisions.As Greenberg said a few years,fans,coaches etc need to grow up and stop whinging(that was not verbatim of what he said obviously)
Everything normally evens itself up over a season.Look at last week,Cows were allegedly robbed of a try by the bunker,this week they got the rub of the green.I’d like to hear coaches come out in their presser saying they got a favourable call this week,just like they do when they whinge about getting a bad call

I don't give two $hit$ about what adjustments need to be made. Personally I believe gambling is not something we should in anyway promote.

Disappointed with Payten's press conference... dancing around the decision, playing dumb, and even crying poor us got ripped off before so what goes around comes around. He had a chance to show some integrity, acknowledge is was a garbage call and express his team was fortunate to win.

Feldt is one of those players who constantly tries to milk penalties, a serial offender, not to mention he had absolutely no chance of getting to the ball in any case, then all the BS corrupt nonsense that the officials have dished up. As if the tigers fans aren’t doing it tuff enough, absolutely disgraceful.
