I was positive about him staying but its slowly sinking in that he wont be here next year. The fact he wanted to stay but our useless management stuffed up the deal makes it hurt even more. In a few years when we are really struggling with a crappy number 7 more people are going to realise just what we lost.

I'd really really love Cherry to stay but in the event that he doesn't, I just keep reminding myself that we have him now and after ten (?) rounds we're... last.
I know he's been largely responsible for the three wins (hence he absolutely should be kept) but if we didn't have him and didn't have those three wins we'd still be ... last.

They are probably struggling 2 get tpa's for him that are rock solid.

To me this situation is very very simple. DCE, with his amazing football skill, likes money. Lots of money. If we can match the money that the Titans/NRL are offering him, he will stay. At best he might only stay if Manly can get within $50, 000 of the Titans 1.3 offer.

He strikes me as being completely motivated by money (which is not a bad thing). Its all about the money guys - Manly matches the offer or comes very close to matching it, his services will be bought for another few years, going to the highest bidder. No cash, no Chezzy, simple
