I am pissed as everyone else but time to support the players in our colours. Bozo may I say may prove us wrong, he cut Blake, moved on the iro brothers, John Jones, Dave I donnell even Des.
He did blood beaver, kosef, gartner back row yet released Cleary, Chris Ryan, elsegood and keep on paper inferior players in hopa and Moore.
We just need to give it time I remember else good was flavour of month I never was a Danny Moore fan.
At least we signed heap of kids with potential Meehan, sironen, shaun lane, Brian Kelly, perrett, Hastings, Cullen and joey lussick.
Hooker I just don't know api just can't pass a ball I really hope either hastings or lussick can make it there spot.

Great signing. Kid is only 20 and still has no where near reached his potential. Could be the long term halves partner for dce and we would of picked him up cheap. The guy has talent and a very very good goal kicker. Yeah a bit arrogant but definitely doesn't lack confidence. Had a falling out with the roosters but think Barrett is the type of coach that could get the best of out him.
Definitely worth a punt if we have picked him up cheap and can fill in a number of spots.

The Iro brothers came to Manly more because of Graham Lowe than anything to do with Bozo.
Edit: By the time the Iro's came to Manly in 1990 (Tony) and 1991 (Kevin), Bozo was full time coach of the Kangaroos. Other than being a Manly legend he really had no official ties to the club at all during this time until Lowe's illness prevented him from coaching and the club put out an SOS for Bozo to come back and coach. And that wasn't until 1993.
Give me Danny Moore over Lewis Brown any day thanks.

I don't get it...how does everyone know he has attitude problems? Besides that, I remember guys like Kitey and Galuvao saying in their youth's, they weren't the nicest of blokes.
Hopefully we have a core of settled blokes that keep him grounded. Trbojevic boys seem really, really settled.

Absolutely. Danny Moore was a more than handy player. I don't understand why anyone would mention him in the same breath as Lewis Brown.

I haven't seen that much of Hastings but I have seen him do exactly what you described, and it cost the Roosters the game...

If dce doesn't play your normal halfbacks game & take control then green & hastings in the halves.
dont think it matters how good dce and green play.. without a half decent hooker they wont get much quality ball to work with...
ive never been a fan of the "live wire" type hookers (korisau, issac luke etc) , you generally dont win comps with players like that at 9... always been a fan of the solid reliable hookers, like ur ballins,cam smiths, farrahs, peats etc..
parcell seemed to fit that bill for me.. good passing, solid all round game without trying to be that spark every single play and hindering the halves... oh well.. maybe im wrong

I have seen much of Hasting and I have also seen him highly contributing to matches won by the roosters including man of the match performance . I have seen him set up tries , scoring a try , saving tries , kicking goals and kicking a match winning field goal .
The pessimists on here that cant see past their negativity also cannot see that Hasting is only a kid at 20 years of age and started playing NRL level with the roosters at just 18 years of age back in 2014. The fact is all good players fck up Just like the elite Inglis did when he tried kicking a field goal in the last few minutes of the game when his team needed a try to win the game .

I've seen him play almost every first grade game for Roosters. Abject failure overall. If he is so impressive why was there not a single club in Aus or England interested until us in late December. Reason : good football skills,zero game awareness.
Overall I thought our recruiting has been very good for next year and was on record saying we would have a good year until this mess with Parcell has left us with not a single specialist hooker at the club- in a spine position it is proven year in year out is essential to winning premierships.
You can have all the good recruits you like but not having a single hooker can go a long way to ruining a lot of good work.Cant think of any team in history years who have not had a specialist 9 in a senior squad.

1. Api is a specialist premiership winning hooker
2. You are not Hastings agent and you cant say no team wanted Hastings . As far as I know Hasting did have a choice and chose the mighty Sea eagles
