Buzz reported that Brown addressed the Players after their loss and said he'll leave immediately if he is their problem.

For a team needing to win their last 3 games to make the finals their pathetic effort last weekend looked they were running 15th.

As Kent said last night on 360, they are professional footy players with no excuse as they are paid to put in 100% effort every game with no excuses.

Can't help comparing Brown's exit to that of Toovey. Toovey also knew he'd been shafted but he stayed to the end of the season, and the players beat the Sharks in the last round.
Brown does seem like a decent up-front bloke but as a coach it's not a great sign when senior players don't want you and the team gives up the way they did last week. The new coach will have his work cut out and I agree with the earlier poster that Brown might struggle to get another NRL gig.

They should fine all of them and release a public apology to the members, supporters and more importantly the sponsors.

If I was one of their sponsors I would be demanding a meeting with the CEO for a “please explain”.

His apology in front of the media yesterday looked contrived, what passes for management hoped that would put a lid on it.
