I wouldn't want a centre like Walker who continually self sabotages paired with another centre who has the habits of Roberts because you're essentially saying we will pay these guys but also end up playing their back ups for considerable lengths of time because the other 2 are uncontrollable dickheads.

I heard from a reliable source at the Titans that this was when he was playing for them, take it with a grain of salt though who knows what to believe these days.

I am as big a fan of Schuster as anyone on here, but he will need to play against the Up size NSW cup players before consideration at NRL level.
I think Ben Turbo seems closer to the physical rigours of NRL level today and both potentially are guns.

That's over $2 million there...

Upgrades aside, should be a healthy sum to add 1-2 quality players, which will likely be happening.

The most interesting deals for me will be Tom’s and Jake’s. A lot flows from what these two will be on under their new contracts (if they sign, fingers crossed!).

Apparently Jake is currently on $700k and Tom $900k. Jake is in the top three forwards for mine and Tom is in the top three outside backs. Both would be worth ~$1m on the open market I reckon.

The above is why I am in favour of front loading some contracts if Walker gets axed following his court case. It will give us more flexibility in a year or two so.

Completely agree Ranga, just saying, wouldn't you lock in a long term contract ie life at NRL for the whole family? You could say offer 2.5 mil a year for the lot of them? Another few years then get the discount of the salary cap?

Completely agree.

He has all the physical attributes but doesn’t seem to possess the mental attributes required.* I think he is an athlete first (and a pretty darn good one for his size), footballer second. Whereas you compare him to other blokes is reserve grade like De Luis and Saunders and they are footballer first and foremost.
